Wrong Profession

My bed calls for me. The fridge is holding out that ice cold beer.

Both will have to wait.

I have lessons to write, homeworks to mark.

I want to hurt everyone who says teaching is a part time job.

No time to write the post burning inside of me.

I should have become an ed deformer. At least then I would have my evenings free.

Rhee couldn't even last 2 years. Now she is putting down the mayor-elect and saying she won't work for him. I bet Bloomberg or Duncan has a job waiting for her.

You'd also make a whole lot more money. It's true, though, that Rhee will not go quietly into the good night. She'll exaggerate her achievements as chancellor and the editorial boards will believe her, just as they believe her unsubstantiated tales of her miraculous 2-year teaching career.

I can think of some people that I want to hurt who say that teaching is a 'part time' job. It makes my blood boil when I hear that and makes me see red.
