Obama said that that a high school diploma is not enough anymore. He's right. The diploma has been so watered down that it is not even worth the paper it is printed on.
Instead of pushing everyone into a college program they are not ready for, give real high school courses that prepare the youth of today to be responsible adults of tomorrow.

We struggle with that as well. How do you get the kids to work harder - when they haven't had to? Or even to value the work?
I get some - for short spurts, then they slip back.
