Unreal!

I have to post here because I don't want to scream it out loud:

It's a funeral, not a fashion show. Stop worrying about what you are wearing.

I took my mom to have her hair done before my dad's furneral mass. It was important for her to not look all disshelved. I didn't want that for her funeral too. We all looked like wreaks duing the wake. Unless the outfits are totally inappropriate, I would imagine it's a coping device.

There is a difference between feeling good about what you are wearing and worrying about whether heels or boots look better, the shawl looks better than the jacket and whether the dress should be all black or black and a print.

Everyone looked appropriate and nice. The emphasis on looking good for others was just too much.
