Enjoy Them While You Can

Husband and son, hugging goodbye.

Husband and son packing up the car.

My son is starting his new job in Baltimore tomorrow. He left yesterday. I know its time for him to be an adult, to move on with his life but I miss him already.

These past three years with him living here has been great.

Now, who will fix my computer when it is not working right?

I know how you feel. I had to wait 2 months for my son to visit from Virgina to fix my computer.

I miss him for more than his computer skills. He's moved out before but we always knew he would be back in the NY area. Now I know he is gone for good, only 4 hours away, but still away.

The only good part is that he is living in the same city as his sister now so we it will be easire to visit both of them at same time now.

I'm so happy your son finally got a job. After my husband's ordeal this past year, I know how thrilled your son must be. I think it is wonderful that you can say you miss him already. I am worried about what I will say if our 22 year old daughter ends up living with us for three years! It's only been six months for us but there are definitely good days and bad days.

That pix looks like my son and I. He's coming tmrw to fix something; fortunately married and only lives 20 min away. Almost nothing he can't fix; the complement of me.
