well you can complain all you want but there are plenty or horrible teachers...seen the news lately?...parents have a right to know how other parents and students feel and who in fact is teaching their children.
school districts often cover their own butts by trying to hide backgrounds of teachers...i found out on rate my teacher that one of my kids teachers had several dui's and had been charged with domestic violence and had a five year criminal restraining order out on him...who wants a teacher like this teaching their kid..this information was true and i checked public records to confirm what i had read on the site...common sense needs to be applied...as a parent i encourage all parents to check out the site. orange unified school district needs moral clauses in their contracts with teachers along with drug testing..especially canyon high school in anaheim!
