A New Graphing Calculator

I can use any of the Texas Instruments graphing calculators expertly. I went to tons of training and then was able to pick up extra stuff on my own.

I've been looking at this Casio for an hour. Even when I figure something out, I have a hard time remembering how I did it.

I have a headache!

I can't imagine having to learn a new calculator. Don't all the text books in New York come with graphig calculator actiivties for the TI? Ours do. I have never seen instructions for any other type of calcuator.

Two years ago our school got a grant to purchase 1200 TI graphing calculators. We check them out to students just like a textbook. It is nice that they all have the same calcualtor.

Good luck with the Casio.

We have 5000 kids in our building so 1200 wouldn't do us much good.

I have used TI since I started teaching about 10 years ago but changed school this year and my new school use casio. Was tricky at the start but once I got past my early frustration it wasnt that hard. To learn your 2nd calculator is only a small fraction of the work you needed to learn the first.
