One of my closest friends just had her first baby. Since I am not into "cutsy" and impractical gifts, I bought her two huge boxes of diapers. I hope she doesn't think of me as her sh***y friend when she is in the middle of changing the sh**!

I think that's a very useful and practical gift! I mean, really, how many cute little outfits does one baby need? I would have totally appreciated that when I had a baby. (Well, the thought, anyway, cuz I used cloth! ;-) )
The two people are probably ass kissers. Hence they are not held accountable for their lack of action.
