TRS

Waiting at TRS to hand in my papers.  My husband is here.  I couldn't do this online.  My best friend and her husband are here doing the same thing.

I'm online.

It is the only thing making me smile.

Congrats!! You will love that first rainy, cold or extremely snowy day when you can just go back under the covers.

I was lucky--the day I went I was the only one there. Also, they didn't have a Notary, now they do.

From there you will have to go to Brooklyn to get the medical papers processed (unless that was changed too.)

Word of warning---get all your meds renewed NOW because after 3 months, there's a pretty big deductible. Wish my UFT adviser had told me that. Instead he tried to sway me to take the annuity payout--which thankfully I didn't!!

Hopefully all will be processed before July 1st. It will be interesting to find out just how many teachers packed it in this year.

Oops! Just read your wonderful speech, and had no idea that you will still have to wake up on those rainy, snowy, cold days to teach a first-period class. But knowing you, those things were never a bother.

What is College Now?

College now are courses given by local colleges to high school students.
