It's Over

My mom died at 12:30 AM today. If my dad survives the funeral, he will be okay.

The funeral is tomorrow at 9:30. The sooner it starts, the sooner he can start healing.

I can't possibly express how sorry I am for your loss. Take comfort in knowing that you were there for your mother, and she is at peace.

Your father will be fine- it's just going to take some time for him to learn how to fill the void.

Take care of yourself- I've been where you, and you need to be as kind to yourself as possible.

The hardest loss in the world is losing one's mother...

But God is still saying YES...

You will carry on your mom's legacy by being the good and generous person you have always been. You will grieve, but never forget who you are and all the great things you have done for not only your students but your family and friends as well. I am so sorry for your loss....this poem is so touching I am writing this through a veil of tears.

I'm so sorry.

Your mother sounds like a remarkable woman....and the proof is in the strong, loving family she leaves behind.
