ATRs

Is the union ready to sell out the ATRs? I hope this is not true.

I don't have a crystal ball, but that post seems to have been created from whole cloth. Irresponsible.

I'd like to see a source of some kind to back up a claim like that.

Probably a trial balloon. This ATR issue is the most critical since they gave up seniority transfer. Should freeze any new hires whre ATRs are available in that license. Thre is a way to give ATRs choices and still have some principal say in the matter.

Time for new Union leadership. Let Randi be Obama's girl.

If it goes to vote... say good bye to ATRs. People will take the 4% over this issue.

I too hope this is a false rumor. However the fact that the UFT allowed the ATR provision in the first place was a total sellout. When many of us warned them of the consequences via Edwize, it fell on deaf ears. Then Leo buried the whole topic.

The sad thing, if this were true, there would be votes for it from the same members who sold out seniority in '05.
