I just got an IM from a former student asking me why I am not teaching trig. When I told him I had no idea what I was teaching as I have not been given a program, he told me his teacher's name.
So, programs are written. The kids know who is teaching what. Too bad the teachers don't know.
I even broke down and checked my DOE e-mail, looking for a program. Surprise, surprise, its not there!

Isn't this somehow a violation of privacy? If patients knew where a doctor was working, but not the doctor, wouldn't people find that wrong?
What a bizarre double message from your administration: We don't want to tell you the courses you are teaching but we will tell the students AND we want to ensure you do not do any advanced preparation for the courses you will be teaching (in case they are new courses for you).
Yeah, G-d forbid teachers at Packeminanscrewem High School have any idea what rooms they might be in, how many rooms they're in during their day, and of course exactly which courses they should prepare for. It's the BloomKlein approach to education: shock and awe, shock and awe, shock and awe.
Just more teacher disrespect by administrators when the students know more than the teacher.
try ARIS. its posted for most teachers
I don't even know how to get into ARIS. Why can't the school e-mail them? They e-mail other stuff.

Thank you so much for the ARIS info. Now I know in advance that my principal lied re: my schedule! I hope everyone logs in!
