My soon to be 30 year old son just became a home owner. I write this with a lot of pride, partly because he is able to put down a sizable amount and is able to pay a mortgage at his young age. He knew exactly what he wanted and went out and got it. It is a great house, three bedrooms, 2.5 baths, full finished basement, and a deck. It is semi attached in a nice neighborhood with a good school district. Not big enough to get lost in while he is living alone but big enough for him, a wife and a couple of kids. (Okay, I'm dreaming here, but it is allowed.)
