There were three erasers in the room and chalk on the board. These are unusual finds at Packemin.
But then, I needed to call the office and ask a question. The next surprise was not so pleasant.
The phone was there but the receiver was missing.
When will I learn to stop expecting everything to be as it is supposed to be?

i'd much rather have an abundance of erasers than a complete phone. now, you can chalk up a storm while ignoring the phone!
Why didn't they take the whole phone while they were at it, instead of just the receiver?
The chalk and erasers were the better deal.
