The Locked Door

I got to the room early and tried the door. It was locked. I walked to the other door and found that it too was locked.

The man arrived at the room and I told him the door was locked. He didn't believe me, or maybe he thought I did not know how to turn a door knob. He insisted on trying it himself. No matter how hard he twisted it, the door did not open. He walked to the other door and tried again, even though I told him it was also locked. He couldn't open the locked door, just as I could not open it.

Men, they think they know it all!

I've been lurking a bit here, but this post? this post has brought me out...because of something that happened just yesterday....
I had some small wooden letters I had just finished painting sitting on the table to dry when my 6-yr-old comes in....I tell him to not touch the letters, they're wet...and yep...he touched one! As I'm ranting about him not listening and that "the letters were wet what were you doing?", his 11 yr-old brother comes in...stands for a minute...and touches a letter.

and then...as another blogger always says...my head exploded!

Not all men. This man knows how little he knows--but he's learning more each day!
