All of a sudden my inclusion boy will have a para with him every day, as his IEP stipulates. I made some noise and the noise paid off.
The teacher is not happy but who cares. I now am sure he will pass the regents in June.

Just so you know, some one on one paras are not all alike. I have worked with marvelous ones and a few lazy ones too. I hope he gets someone good.
He has someone good. The woman is determined to learn the math so she can help him.
Congrats on your noisemaking action. Hey, that's how I get things done, too. The old saying is: the squeaky door gets the oil.
I hope the best for the student.
Yay! But why weren't this boy's parents making noise for him when something obvious like not having the para required by his IEP was going on?
Don't know the answer. Sometimes, even bright parents don't know their rights.
