All it required was a yes or a no. I got a story and two different answers. Read about them here.

One funny thing about how I learned the smartboard is I just jumped in and started using it in class even though I really didn't have a clue what I was doing. Because the kids were used to being in classes where the smartboard was used they were full of all kinds of advice. Whenever something went wrong, they would all start yelling out what to do. I think they really appreciated that I was willing to learn something new and struggle a little in front of them.

Just the other day, I was teaching away with the board and I stopped and said, "remember when ya'll had to help me do all this stuff?" The kids said, "yeah, you sure have come a long way!"

That made me feel so good.

Just remember, calibrate, calibrate, calibrate.

Our kids haven't seen smart boards so they won't be much help.
