Kodak Moment

The Chancellor is coming to my school next week to visit our new science labs. I haven't seen them but I am betting that they are state of art! I wonder if he will be followed by a camera crew. I'm going to dress up for the occasion--wear my oldest jeans and my NO TEACHER LEFT BEHIND tee shirt. I wonder if Principal Suit will also show him the leaky trailers, the rancid pool that sits in front of mine, the classrooms with no windows or ventilation systems, the classrooms that have been split in two--long and narrow so kids cannot see the board from either side, etc, etc, etc.

I wonder if they'll fix the trailers for his visit. I saw them pumping out and replacing a drain outside my trailer on Friday.

Why don't you just hijack the film crew and escort them to your leaky digs? I'm sure they'll appreciate the opportunity to film something really photogenic.

I would love to do that but since I am not ready to retire I think I will pass on that suggestion.

I'm not as brave as I would like to be.

You can rest assured that Monsieur Klein will not be steered in the direction of IEPland either. No trailer, no IEP's, no ELL's, no phone no food no pets.....life is beautiful!
