Proud Criminal

The pride she feels in her accomplishment is equivalent to the pride a bank robber feels when he counts his loot.

Both profited on the labors of others.  Both have ill gotten gains.  The bandit can spend his money but must hide his face.  If he is caught, he will be put away for many years.  She, on the other hand walks around like a proud peacock, strutting her feathers.  She is congratulated for pulling a fast one.  She cheated and lied.  She forced others to do the dirty work for her.

She is no better than the bandit, in fact she is a lot worse.  To get this bonus she hurt many. Kids have been given a false sense of accomplishment.  The value of the diploma has been diminished.  And the sad thing is, no one cares.

One day she will be stopped.  Her tears will flow but they won't save her.  The people who helped her along the way will be too busy saving themselves.  It will be too late to help those who have been hurt but at least others will be saved.

This post is so depressing, but is the truth in many urban schools in NY.. The children have been left behind not making true and authentic accomplishments. Administrators reap the benefits of these false accomplishments with their performance bonuses.

**These kinds of people are also a bunch of giant turds...

you only touched on a small portion of what this particular administrator has accomplished. There is still so much more that has not been said.

I, along with everyone else who knows her agree completely.

I feel as though you are speaking of an admin in my school. The damage is immeasurable. Where do these people come from and why do they hate so much?

They come from the mindset that experience means nothing. You can earn a college degree in a similar manner as a high school diploma. You can lie, cheat and steal you way into an administrative position. You need not teach in any particular area. You hire new teachers that don't know of your past. You thrive on everyone else's knowledge and bark a great deal. AND HERE YOU HAVE MADE AN ADMINISTRATOR! The DOE is broken. Not from the teachers but from the top of the shelf. When you allow and accept administrators like this you have to be broken.
