When I finally convinced my husband to go for TimeWarner's Triple Play (no FIOS in my neighborhood), we got a year of Showtime free. Well, the year is almost up and we got an offer to keep it at a reduced rate. Since we barely watched, we decided not to take the offer. I just called to cancel and was given another year free! Maybe now I will give it a try!

Wow! Good for you! I guess I'm now officially the ONLY person in America without cable.
Nurse Jackie, one of the best shows on TV (and its on Showtime).
Its about black/dark humor in regards to the health care system in NYC.
Dexter, Nurse Jackie, The Big C, Weeds...Just to name a few of my favs from that channel. (But I have to wait a year to see all my favorite cable shows on Netflix)
What other channels have you been avoiding?
PS: While I don't have cable, I am holding out for FIOS to come to Queens.
