Do We Really Want To Do Away With Unions?

The people in this country fought long and hard to have the rights to safe working conditions, benefits, and decent wages.  Do we really want to return to the days before that?  Do we really want to return to the conditions like those the workers at the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory faced

Unions are not the cause of the sad shape of the economy.

I wish we had stronger "associations" here in Texas, we are going to get a royal "screwing" by Rick Perry and David Dewhurst and the business community this session....and then they'll be bitching down the road about the quality of student/worker getting turned out....Hell, Mr. Businessman, you got to pay for quality.

You have got to be kidding. There are people in this country that do dangerous jobs without union protection, but teachers think they need union protection. If the truth be told, it's all about the money. Unions are bankrupting this country. When it comes to our schools we are not getting our money's worth.

Everyone needs union protection. If you think differently, you must be one of those people abusing others.

Let the socialist minded be union drones if they wish. But let those who are proud of their country and don't need union suckling, work for whom they see fit - with ties to no one.
