Words Of Wisdom

As I sit waiting for my flight, I am recalling the words of a former principal who said two things that really made sense:

Number 1: You can't save the world, just save the ones you can.
(His advice to me when I would get upset about not reaching every student.)

Number 2: Take care of your family first. You can't take care of ours (school children) if you are worried about what is going on at home.

This guy was pretty smart.

Why are there so few of those?

That is because principals don't say that much that is wise.
