Happiness
MY DOOR GOT FIXED TODAY!!!!! I DON’T EVEN CARE THAT IT WAS DONE DURING MY CLASS. I DON’T CARE THAT WE HAD TO LISTEN TO THE DRILLS AND BANGING! I HAVE A DOOR THAT CLOSES AND LOCKS.
I wish I had your connections. Maybe the hole in the wall where the rain has come in my classroom for years would get fixed. In the meantime, there's always duct tape.
"Duct Tape". Wasn't that a Marx Bros movie? POT, you have no right to be happy: you should realize that, in the zero-sum game mentality preferred by your countrypeople, the money to pay for your door repair had to be taken away from somewhere else. I hope you feel good and guilty, ha!

It may not take much to make you happy, but getting that door fixed was a BIG DEAL!
Don't you have a trash can, too? High falutin' rich east coast schools.
Congrats. For my birthday, I want the very same thing.
All you've got to do is call the Principal and threaten to call the media or the PTA president--her son is in my class.
It worked for me!

Yay! It's so wonderful when things get fixed!
I think it cost about $1 to buy the new hinge and about 15 minutes of labor, so money is not the issue here.
I was being ironic... ;-)
Glad it's fixed, tho I still completely fail to understand why a teacher's only recourse is to bribe or threaten.
sorry about not catching the sarcasm--I guess I am too sensitive about some issues.
