My dad said "Wear long sleeves. You don't know what you are pulling up." I said, "Don't worry, everything is fine.".
I now have poison ivy.

I showed my teen daughter your blog and she said "Well I don't get posion ivy".
I always tell my daughter "Father Knows Best" when her flavor of the day boyfriend does not live up to her expectations.
Of course if I ever approved of a boyfriend she would probably drop the poor chump immediately.
And the game continues to be played by both of us.

Just had this conversation with my son who has found a short cut to run through my neighbors yard and in between two garages to get to my house. I told him poison ivy won't be his friend.
