I Didn't Lie

The one thing the kids in my algebra class find most interesting is my clothing. This week they were fascinated by my socks, impressed that I was wearing Burberry.  I didn't tell them these socks came from the Dollar Store and that I had never heard of Burberry until after I bought them.  I take compliments, even when they are built on lies.

I cannot help but notice the red stripe.

I was wearing shoes, so most of the sock was bocked. I never really looked at Burberry. Does the real stuff lack the stripe?

I thought you bought them -because- of the red stripe.

I want their earmuffs badly, but they never go on sale. So if you come across a similar pair, let me know.

Btw, one of the questions on Cash Cab was about this company. The people in the cab didn't know the answer. So, they did a street shout-out and called over 2 nicely dressed women, and they knew the answer. Now you know a piece of trivia that can lead to money--that is, if you ever stop taking the subway and just happen to hail the right taxi. :)
