Found This On Our Class Facebook Page

Posted by one of my students.  Apologies to all you non-math people who don't get the joke, but it is really funny.

There's a big calculus party, and all the functions are invited. ln(x) is talking to some trig functions, when he sees his friend e^x sulking in a corner.
ln(x): "What's wrong e^x?"
e^x: "I'm so lonely!"
ln(x): "Well, you should go integrate yourself into the crowd!"
e^x looks up and cries, "It won't make a difference!"

Boy, I am going to miss this next year.

Your students are witty and bright, but I have a feeling you won't miss this as much as you think you will now.

Good advice. Se^x is much more popular than e^x.

I think from time to time, I will miss being with high school seniors when I retire in May. That said, I won't miss CSCOPE ( the new curriculum sweeping the State of Texas), the TAKS-STAAR-EOC Exams, our idiot Supt., the soon to be "broke" public schools....you need to read the Austin, Houston,Ft Worth, Lubbock newspapers to see how many teachers are to be laid-off due to poor budgeting by our state legislature.
For the first time in my life I am going to be "off" in the Fall. My wife and I are traveling to New England just to see the Fall Foliage.
If you can get out, do so. I wouldn't recommend this job as it stands today to my worst enemy.
