he may have sent the invitationg to everyone on his contact list which came from his contact list...and not even realized it.. from the sounds of Mr. AP, sounds like he is not too literate with computers or technology..
I think Linked In sends them automatically if you are enrolled and have some common people amongst your connections. I ignore most of these "invitations". Bad enough you had to work with him in the first place......
