South Bronx and I work in different schools, but the administrator he is describing sounds vaguely familiar. Read his post here. Today's Newsday is still blaming teachers for all the woes of the schools. When will the media open their eyes to administrators who fall into this category?

For the most part, I've been blessed with decent administrators. But I don't look forward to the liklihood that it will not stay that way through the majority of my career.
Jaba the administrator was overheard on a walkie-talkie telling her dean to "bring that black kid to my office." wtf.
Yes, I know this administrator and a few others like him/her as well! WOW. It is amazing how well this person knows my administrator.
Believe me, there was nothing like the administrator who really did look like Jabba the Hutt..... and his ethics were just as questionable.
I know one of these administrators but this one is a 'she', not a 'he.
