Just got this e-mail with the subject "Are you available to help me now?"I'm still not too sure if I can analyze equations proficiently enough so I decided to do one more problem, number 18 in the blue textbook on page 204. However its a daunting problem,f(x) will never be negative which means its first derivative is always positive as well, which I believe the 2nd derivative will show that f(x) will have a concave up at some point. I'm not sure how to find the points though, do I need a calculator in order to do this problem. The question is 8e^(-x) / (2e^(-x) + 5e^(-1.5x)) if I'm not mistaken.I'm going to have a hard time giving all of this up. I love these kids. They keep me young and strong.

My Terrific Students
Just saw this on the class facebook page. One girl found it and many of the kids are talking about ordering it.

I think it's so awesome that your kids email you for help. It says a LOT about what they think of you, and how they feel about you.
Just fyi, I was like you about that coffee machine for a very long time. But, I started to think about the coffee I stopped to get almost every morning, at usually over $2 per cup, and how much that adds up to over a year's time. Then, when I saw this deal at Sam's Club, it just made sense to get it. Like I said, the 60 cups that came in the bonus pack will save me well over $120. Plus, the $20 reusable filter cup, that was included for free, will let me save even more money since I won't be forced to buy those coffee cups. When you add it all up, it was well worth the $129.98 price tag! My travel mug fits right under the spout, so I can brew a fresh cup of coffee in the time it takes me to put on my coat!
Now, if you and your husband don't get a lot of coffee by the cup outside of your house, maybe it wouldn't save you the same kind of money, and maybe it wouldn't be such a deal for you guys. I don't know. All I know is I LOVE this thing! :)
How very asymptotic of you!!!
