Compassion
Do not use your car but make sure to feed the meter.
Mayor Moneybags does not care about the little guy who may have parked his car overnight at the only available spot.

Great and when I heard that I sad holy s___, the absolute arrogance of this mayor. He has no idea what it is like he is driven everywhere. What a piece of S_ _ T!
PS: However nothing is plowed!! When his actions are incompetent, he gets testy with the press and finds no fault with himself. He could have declared a state of emergency, but didn't. People were stuck on trains and roads like the BQE for many, many hours. Emergency services took over 3 hours. Nothing was plowed by area hospitals. Yet, he was nice enough to suspend alternate side and meters after the fiasco of threatening tickets after the last big storm.
It is his way of getting money for the city, that 'supposedly has no money."
Glad you are out of the snow and in warm sunshine.
The roads are much better down here now. Yesterday it was bad. Because the winds were strong, a tree fell a block from my house. It was a bad blizzard.
Pictures will be on my picasa album no later than today.
I say, what a disrespectful tone. Mikey has made it a point to clean Streets that Matter, and whose fault is it if the rabble fails to live on one? And for the love of Smedley, that character should have the chauffeur dig out the vehicle. Otherwise, what does one pay a chauffeur for?
Wow...someone actually angry at your post?? Why? Does Bloomberg usually show compassion? What about the year he forced everyone to dig out there cars otherwise get tickets. The only reason he didn't do it this time was to avoid the backlash of criticism by the NY papers. Or the winter he changed bus schedules and had kids shivering for hours waiting for a school bus? Or during the black out telling residents of Astoria to F-off and praising Con Ed? Yep, you don't know what you're talking about. Or do you??
btw, Had this happened during the school year, he would declare schools open.
