Switzerland Gnomes

Found these on a flower pot in Zurich. They were too cute for words. I especially liked the one reading on the bowl.

Time To Look At More Pictures

Home from Canada is giving me a chance to look at my Switzerland pictures again. These aren't as impressive. I have gotten better with the camera in just a few weeks.

My next trip won't involve so many photos. It is really just a chance to be a kid again with my junior high school friends.

These pictures were taken in Berne.

The Swiss consider this ugliest fountain in all of Switzerland.

Supermarket Junkie

Off on vacation again. this time I will have internet access although I don't know how much time I will have to use it.

Here is the last Switzerland post for a while.

I really am a cheap date. I had a great time walking around the major supermarket in Zurich

I loved being able to find Kosher food.

Nice to see specially designed shopping carts.

Notice the magnifying glass on every cart to help read those tiny labels.

Easily Entertained

Our last day in Switzerland didn't afford us much time to do anything so we decided to pay the local supermarket a visit. We both got a charge out of the different wine containers being sold. Although most were not products of Switzerland, they were things we never saw before (not even on our trip to Spain.)

Nice cartons for packing up bottles of wine.

My favorite--"juice box" styles of wine for packing in a lunch box. I bought a few of these. My husband says I can't bring them to faculty meetings. They would sure make those long meetings easier.

Nerds On Vacation

Nerds that my daughter and I are, we had to visit Einstein's apartment in Berne. I took a pciture of his math teacher's license, but can't find it. Above are some other ones I especially enjoyed.
