I am not surprised..I see what goes on in kindergarten to grade 5,- instruction which is highly inappropriate for most children, being told to follow and read from a teacher's guide, teaching higher level math concepts BEFORE the comprehending lower level (just so everyone can jump on the inquiry bandwagon) No handwriting and penmanship instruction (how many students come into middle or high school not being able to sign their name in cursive?) This list can go on but I will stop here..at least for now....
